Techsan is made up of two key components:
the freestanding, ergonomic unit which is easy to use, operate and install; and SANI-99, an alcohol-free disinfectant and sanitiser in powder form, which is easily made by the end-user just by mixing it with tap water. This unique design results in an overall solution that is environmentally responsible, user-friendly, and cost-effective.

Environmentally Responsible

Alcohol sanitisers are currently the largest contributor of plastic bottle contamination. Our intention is for Techsan to produce zero waste! As the disinfectant is in powder form, this means that you only need one container for the life of the product. As Techsan comes with a refillable 10-litre container, there’s no need to purchase a new container when the disinfectant runs out.

In addition to this, the size of the disinfectant means that less trucks are required to transport it (only a 6g sachet is needed to make one litre of disinfectant), reducing the impact of transportation on the environment. For example, transporting 2 million litres of alcohol-based sanitiser would require sixty-six 30-ton trucks; whereas 2 million SANI-99 sachets (2 million litres) would only need one 30-ton truck!

Cost-effective

One 10 litre container lasts for approximately 18,000 uses* – that’s only one 60g packet of disinfectant! Storage and transport costs are minimised due to the size of the sachets, compared to bottles of liquid sanitiser. As it’s not hazardous, there are less health and safety requirements. Plus, because of the unit’s design, no plumbing or taps are needed for Techsan to operate! And the refillable container ensures there is no wastage costs.

User-Friendly

The alcohol-free disinfectant and sanitiser is water-based and gentle on hands and is suitable for all skin types. Furthermore, there are no harsh chemicals and safe if ingested, as it is not poisonous. Unlike flammable, alcohol-based sanitisers, it won’t dry out the skin or cause irritation. It’s easy to mix – all you need is the SANI-99 disinfectant and tap water.

Reliable & Effective

The SANI-99 disinfectant and sanitiser has a proven efficacy of 99.999% (5log), killing some of the toughest bacteria within 10 seconds. Due to SANI-99’s residual value, the longer you leave it on, the more powerful it gets: ie. within 5mins = 99.99995%* (6log). It doesn’t evaporate as quickly as alcohol-based sanitisers, efficacy of which is radically compromised when diluted at less than 80%. SANI-99 is absorbed by the skin to provide lasting protection against bacteria and viruses.
